Todd Smith MS, PT, CSCS, PES
Todd graduated from Daemen College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He began his career at Rochester General Hospital, working in both inpatient and outpatient orthopedics.
Todd transitioned to outpatient private practice with an emphasis on sports rehabilitation and sports conditioning in 2000. He obtained a Masters of Science in Exercise Science, Sports Performance, and Injury Prevention in 2004 from National Academy of Sports Medicine and California University of Pennsylvania. He worked as Director of Powercore Athletics for 6 years before opening PCX Sports Performance and Procare Physical Therapy in May 2011. He holds a certification from National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), as well as an advanced specialization from the National Academy of Sports Medicine - Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
Todd is the clinic director of Procare Physical Therapy. He also oversees all training protocols and is actively involved in the training of each athlete at PCX Sports Performance.
Jennie Hansen PT, DPT, CSCS
Jennie graduated from Penfield High School in 2002. She ran varsity cross country and track throughout her time there, contributing to eight total team sectional titles and several relay titles, as well as amassing numerous All-County and All-Section awards. Jennie went on to receive her Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2006 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009, both from the University at Buffalo, where she continued to compete on their Division I cross country and track teams.
In 2009, Jennie began her triathlon career, and qualified for her elite license two years later. She has been competing professionally since 2012, with career highlights including a victory at the 2013 Ironman Lake Placid competition, a 20th place finish at the Ironman World Championships, as well as numerous other top-10 finishes at various Ironman events.
In addition to her DPT degree, Jennie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a USA Triathlon Level I certified coach with the Valor Triathlon Project. She has been working in outpatient PT since graduation, and has completed continuing education in the area of running injuries and video gait analysis.
